Professional Supervision. Coaching. Workshops. Strategic Planning.
Hey Hey!
My name is Tori!
With over 10 years of experience in the youth development sector, I’ve had the privilege of working across a wide range of roles. From supporting young people in care in the USA to working in Police Youth Development, advocacy, and government roles here in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Those who know me will tell you I have a real heart for the Youth Justice space. I have a strong understanding of the Oranga Tamariki Act, children’s rights, and the National Care Standards. I’ve worked alongside young people in the OT system through all ages, stages, and levels of need.
Becoming a supervisor felt like a natural next step. I’ve spent years mentoring and coaching kaimahi new to the sector, and I genuinely love watching youth workers bring their unique energy to the mahi and change lives in the process. But this work can be heavy. It challenges who we are, how we maintain balance, and how we hold space for others.
That’s where I want to support you.
I’m big on reflective supervision and use practical tools and strategies that I’ve seen make a real difference for youth workers. My goal is to help you harness your strengths, discover new approaches, and find sustainable ways to thrive—both in your work and in your everyday life.
I also believe supervision should be a space where you can bring your whole, authentic self. I know I’ll learn from you too. So let’s connect, and find a rhythm of support that works for you

Finding a supervisor that works for YOU!
Much like working with your tamariki and rangatahi, your working relationship with your supervisor matters. I personally like a casual approach to supervision and have felt that supervision is most useful when my supervisor has been relatable, worked in the field and pushes my reflective strategies.
I encourage you to look for a supervisor that can support the current and future needs of your practice. If you find yourself working more in a particular area (like Youth Justice or Mental Health services), find a supervisor who can help you sharpen the skills you need in your current role and widen your future tool-kit in the industry. Ask yourself where you want to be in 2 years time and find a supervisor who aligns with your aspirations.
I am currently available for Supervision sessions on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. These can be online or at a local coffee spot.
For training sessions, workshops and coaching please reach out to let me know what you’re needing and I will work with you to accommodate this.
